BLOG 9: My favorite subject

Hello everyone!

Course representation



Today I'll talk to you about my favorite subject this semester. This subject corresponds to the general training courses taught by the university, Its name is Globalization and Health: Challenges for Today and Tomorrow. Which takes place on Tuesday aftermoons, at the faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy.

During the classes, the teachers exhibit on the subject, which is accompanied by presentations. In addition, students make their doubts freely. Classes are exhibition,
because we only have two hours of classes a week.

The course is focused on health (a topic that I like a lot), and as it develops in this age of globalization. The subjects is about of types diseases, the concepts of health  and public health. All focused from a population perspective, as the most affected in health changes are ordinary people.
I like this course because I feel like it is a university lap, the subject I teach is didatic and fun. In addition, it does not have a great deal of demand on evaluations, which are alternative. There should also be a discussion in groups. Finally, I like it because I feel like I'm preparing for the especialization I want to do, which is the scientist, so this gives me some tools be prepared.

BLOG 8: Stuffed potato

Hello everyone!
Today I will tell you about my favorite food, which is the potato. I love the potato in all its versions, cooked, fried, golden, among many more. But, as today we have to talk  about my favorite food, that would be the stuffed potato, but not as they know it in Chile.
This potato is cooked and opens in half to add what you want, for example vegetables, meats, sauces, among others. To finish is put cheese on top and put in the oven to melt, it can be simple, but it's delicious.

On its origin, the web does not appear anything concrete, so I will put the origin of the potato. The potato has its origin in the Andean highlands, specifically in the south of Perú (current), in the year eight thousand B.C.
The first time I ate it was in a restorant where we celebrated my mother`s birthday and last time I ate it was a month ago (sad).
I love this food because it is delicious, mix different flavors (according to your tastes), leaves you satisfied and saved me many times, since it is easy to cook.
*Clarification: maybe some people know her as "papa grille", but I put it as a stuffed potato to understand*

BLOG 7: Dixit.io

Hello everyone!

Actually, I don't check many websites related to my career, but, if I had to recommend one, it would be  https://dixit.io/.
Dixit is a news site created by Fork Labs, in which they collect all the news of the day, which have been published by official means, like for example Cooperativa, La Tercera, Biobio Chile, among others. The news is published in a mosaic-type page, where only headlines and should be pressed on the news to send you direct to the site official. The site has different search options, including this one by date (now, today, week and month), category (all, national, sports, among others) and format (vertical and horizontal). Finally, they have a direct link with their Twitter, where they publish the news instantly.

This site I visit once a week, to review the relevant news of the week and be able to study for the current events they perform in the course Radio I.
This web page I like why it gathers all the important news and facilitates the search of information, allowing me a study without mistimes.
