BLOG 10: The last post (for now)

Hello everyone!

Today I will talk about this, the experience of having to post. In itself this teaching dynamic I liked quite a lot, it was varied and also it was like fulfilling the typical dream that one has a child of being a blogger (I blame Disney for this). Besides, it helped me to be able to express myself more, because in the career everything must be precise and concise, and here I could spread without problems.
Regarding my English writing skills, I don't know if I really developed as expected in the program, as I had thought that writing but I didn't know how to write it, as it cost me the verbal times in English and I didn't trust if what I was writing was right, so I went to the translator and most of my posts were done because of that. Although... Now when I translate, I realize that sometimes there are incoherent things and change them, I find that this is a small advance. 
I would like in the future the posts could be made during the week and not in classes, since sometimes that can be very stressful, besides I think that would cause us to write more deeply or more detailed.
I don't really know what I'd like to write, as some topics were very interesting and I wouldn't change them, but there are others that would take them out completely, for example, that of the technological  apparatus and that of the website, since they were themes that could be developed in very few words,  were simple and boring.

BLOG 9: My favorite subject

Hello everyone!

Today I'll talk to you about my favorite subject this semester. This subject corresponds to the general training courses taught by the university, Its name is Globalization and Health: Challenges for Today and Tomorrow. Which takes place on Tuesday aftermoons, at the faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy.

During the classes, the teachers exhibit on the subject, which is accompanied by presentations. In addition, students make their doubts freely. Classes are exhibition,
because we only have two hours of classes a week.

The course is focused on health (a topic that I like a lot), and as it develops in this age of globalization. The subjects is about of types diseases, the concepts of health  and public health. All focused from a population perspective, as the most affected in health changes are ordinary people.
I like this course because I feel like it is a university lap, the subject I teach is didatic and fun. In addition, it does not have a great deal of demand on evaluations, which are alternative. There should also be a discussion in groups. Finally, I like it because I feel like I'm preparing for the especialization I want to do, which is the scientist, so this gives me some tools be prepared.

BLOG 8: Stuffed potato

Hello everyone!
Today I will tell you about my favorite food, which is the potato. I love the potato in all its versions, cooked, fried, golden, among many more. But, as today we have to talk  about my favorite food, that would be the stuffed potato, but not as they know it in Chile.
This potato is cooked and opens in half to add what you want, for example vegetables, meats, sauces, among others. To finish is put cheese on top and put in the oven to melt, it can be simple, but it's delicious.

On its origin, the web does not appear anything concrete, so I will put the origin of the potato. The potato has its origin in the Andean highlands, specifically in the south of Perú (current), in the year eight thousand B.C.
The first time I ate it was in a restorant where we celebrated my mother`s birthday and last time I ate it was a month ago (sad).
I love this food because it is delicious, mix different flavors (according to your tastes), leaves you satisfied and saved me many times, since it is easy to cook.
*Clarification: maybe some people know her as "papa grille", but I put it as a stuffed potato to understand*

BLOG 7: Dixit.io

Hello everyone!

Actually, I don't check many websites related to my career, but, if I had to recommend one, it would be  https://dixit.io/.

Dixit is a news site created by Fork Labs, in which they collect all the news of the day, which have been published by official means, like for example Cooperativa, La Tercera, Biobio Chile, among others. The news is published in a mosaic-type page, where only headlines and should be pressed on the news to send you direct to the site official. The site has different search options, including this one by date (now, today, week and month), category (all, national, sports, among others) and format (vertical and horizontal). Finally, they have a direct link with their Twitter, where they publish the news instantly.

This site I visit once a week, to review the relevant news of the week and be able to study for the current events they perform in the course Radio I.

This web page I like why it gathers all the important news and facilitates the search of information, allowing me a study without mistimes.

BLOG 6: A divided future

 Hello everyone!

The future looks very far away, but one always thinks how it will be or that we will be working, and know if we will do what we wanted. Although  journalism was not my first choice, now I would very much like to work in some media, related to fashion or science, I know, they're very opposite.

I would like to work in some medium of those characteristics, why I adore how varied it can be the field of fashion, where I can know different styles and how they are made. In science, I would like to work because it is something that I always liked and with which I can help people to understand on the subject, as many times the terms they use are confusing. 

Science

In wanting to work in some media, I think that studying journalism is the essential, because they are teaching me how to do a quality work and in different fields (written, radio or television).

I think the main thing to work is to have passion and dedication, because with those qualities you can give all your effort and realize what you really like.

BLOG 5: More than just a photo

Hello everyone!

The photograph that I like was taken by Chilean photographer Cristobal Olivares, october 11, 2016 in Punta Arenas, Chile. The photograph for his work A-mor, which shows different photographs related to violence  against women, which are accompanied by descriptive texts.

This photo shows Carola Barria, a woman of 35 years, who suffered a serious fact of domestic violence on the part of your partner. The aggressor took his eyes off the front of his son out of jealousy. In the picture you see Carola with ocular prostheses after the aggression.

By this photo Cristobal Olivares won the Fotoprensa17 prize for photo of the and the first place in portraits.

This picture I like, because it shows the reality at country level, violence is real and cannot be hidden. And that proves it in A-mor complete, because it's showing real stories that can help people raise awareness and even if it's hard, it's a reality.

BLOG 4: 10 Things I Hate About You

Hello everyone!

Among all the movies I've seen in my life, 10 Things I Hate About You to been the one I liked most and I could see constantly. This film is a teenage American comedy that was premiered in 1999, was directed by Gil Junger and its protagonists were Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger.This film was known to be a modern  adaptation of the novel by William Shakespeare, The Taming of the Shrew.

The film is about two very different sisters, Kat and Bianca. The first is rude and cold to the world and the second is cheerful and has several guys in love with her. His father has a rule that prohibits both dating, but this is modified in the course of the film, which makes Bianca's suitors do what it takes to go out with her, even look for Kat's boyfriend. 

I like this film because it mixed two types of romances, the books and the typical American cinema and I love romance. Also the soundtrack is very good and the story very funny. And the end of the movie is the best, but I wont't tell you why.

I think this movie could see any, but would like more to those who see romance or like the movies of the 90's.

BLOG 3: The cell phone and I

Hello everyone!

I must confess that I have never been very close to technological teams, but during this time in college I have found them more important, especially to my cell. 
My cell phone is a Galaxy J6 Samsung brand, which I bought in the middle of last year, because my other cell was failing.

My phone I use it for too many things, starting with the fact that is the main way I communicate with family, friends, among others. I also use it to review material from the university, such as texts, presentations, works, among other things, and finally I take care to review my social networks and leisure applications, mainly Instagram, Twitter, Spotify and Netflix.  
I admit that I use it almost all day, either listenning to music or reviewing social networks, is with me at all times.

My cell I like beacuse I feel that I have most of the things I use, regarding technology issues, in one place and that is also lights and comfortable to take you anywhere. 
My life without my cell phone I think it would be very uncomfortable, as it would have to transport many things everywhere, as a computer or tablet, which are not very light.

BLOG 2: Why would I chose journalism?

Hello everyone!
When I was little, my greatest wish was to help the animals, I wanted  to be the best veterinary medicine in the world, but my parents were not profitable that option, so I had to look for another alternative.
During my schooling I wanted to study too much, medicine, dentistry, medical technology, architecture, desing, pedagogy and fine arts, at any moment I thought journalism.
While I had to chose to study, it was clear that it should be in a recognized university and was always among my first choices the Universidad de Chile.
When deciding was the most complicated, I did not know to do and analyzing my scores appeared the option of studying journalism. Talk about the subject with my mother and we realized account which mixed everything I liked, since I can choose that especialize and I can work on the type of environment that best fits my needs (radio, television or writing).
So far my experience at the university has been good, since every time I am safer that the election that take was the correct.
In the future I´d like to be a journalist specializing in science and/or cultures and work in different places of the world.

BLOG 1: Part of me

Hello everyone!

My name is María Belén González but you can call me María, Belén or María Belén. I be born in San Fernando in the O'higgins region, the 16 of september in the 1999 year. When i be baby with my mother they moved a Santiago, especifically at Maipú, this is my actually direction.

My family is mother, father, two brothers and my dog Aquiles. My mother is cook, my father is miner in Antofagasta and my two brothers are students.

In my education primary be "José Joaquín Prieto Vial" school in Cerrillos and after stay in "Instituto América" school there finally my high school. Actually study journalism in the "Universidad de Chile" in Ñuñoa.

In my free time (is little) like see movies in Netflix principally of type romantic and comedy. As well as decorate my note down with more colors, that is relaxing. And for last i like too much check my instagram and twitter.
